This lecture, based on the STAGES developmental model, explores patterns in the evolution of consciousness both within an individual, and across to humanity over time. In particular, this exploration seeks to reveal “evolutionary pressure points,” an understanding of which can provide significant leverage in overcoming otherwise intractable social challenges. [Time 1:45:26]

This is a paper written for the Growth Edge Network annual gathering conference held in San Diego California in August 2016. It was to accompany a presentation on understanding the developmental motion of “receptive”, “Active,” “Reciprocal,” “Interpenetrative.” This presentation was a joint effort by Kabir Kadre and Lindsay Boyce.
