End of Days scramble…

Kabir Kadre|3 months, 23 days ago

It’s 6:45 PM, in the current care configuration, I turn into a bit of a pumpkin in about 15 minutes. Nonetheless I feel good about the energy put forth in the work done today.

Elisa came over again to help save small armload of shekels that would’ve otherwise been spent on agency care for the day. We had a rich time co-working in the space, she on Zoom meetings and and me focused on refining the next push to make the MettaCare efforts more visible in the world.

We came together a bit on that project, wordsmithing and strategizing, then spent time also on her efforts to advance the clear communication of the Via enterprise of community wellness that she has been stewarding for nearly 1/4 of a century now.

Both of these endeavors felt deeply rewarding and produced tangible outcomes to which we can sit back and breathe for a moment, enjoying the residual sense of satisfaction at jobs well done.

The evening nurse will be here in about 10 minutes to help me to bed and I will rise early tomorrow in support of her schedule. It seems I will be back at my desk before 8 AM which is quite a feat with familiar care. Actually quite looking forward to a nice long day for a bit of a change. 🙂

She’s here now…
